Aftercare Guide

Following these instructions ensures optimal healing and long-lasting results. Please read carefully before your appointment.

Day-by-Day Healing Timeline

1
Day 1–3

Initial Healing

  • Brows will appear darker and bolder than the final result — this is normal.
  • Gently clean the area with provided aftercare products twice daily.
  • Apply a thin layer of healing balm with clean hands.
  • Sleep on your back when possible to avoid friction.
2
Day 3–5

Scabbing Begins

  • Light scabbing begins — the color may appear patchy or uneven.
  • DO NOT pick, scratch, or peel the scabs.
  • Continue gentle cleaning and light balm application.
  • Avoid sweating, swimming, and steam.
3
Day 5–10

Flaking & Lightening

  • Scabs begin to flake off naturally — let them fall on their own.
  • Reduce balm usage to allow natural oils to return.
  • Brows may look very light or patchy — this is normal and temporary.
  • Color will bloom back over the next few days.
4
Day 10–14

True Color Emerges

  • True, healed color becomes visible.
  • Brows should look natural and beautiful.
  • A touch-up appointment at 4–6 weeks will perfect the final result.
  • Continue to protect from excessive sun exposure.

What to Avoid (First 10–14 Days)

Swimming, saunas, steam rooms, or long hot showers
Direct sun exposure and tanning beds (UV fades pigment)
Applying makeup or skincare products on the treated area
Picking, peeling, or scratching
Excessive sweating (gym, sports) for the first 10 days
Facials or chemical peels near the treated area for 4 weeks

Lip Blushing Aftercare

Lip blushing has specific aftercare requirements in addition to the general guidelines above:

  • Apply ice packs for 10–15 minutes to reduce swelling during the first 24 hours.
  • Drink through a straw and eat soft foods for the first few days.
  • Avoid spicy, salty, or acidic foods for the first week.
  • No hot beverages for 48 hours.
  • Do not apply lipstick, gloss, or balms other than the provided aftercare product.
  • Avoid kissing or oral contact during the healing period.
  • Lips will lighten significantly during healing — the final color appears after 2–4 weeks.
